Frozen-mania has swept the country, and no one knows and feels this more than the parents of young children. After DASHA® wellness & spa co-founder and Lifestyle Director Shannon Russo-Pollack traipsed to 42 stores in search of the coveted Elsa (from the Disney hit movie, Frozen) costume for the Pollack’s 6 ½ year old daughter, Summer, Dr. Darren Pollack couldn’t take it anymore, and purchased two of the dresses on Amazon for $480, in addition to $350 in additional Frozen paraphernalia. The Pollack family isn’t alone; the craze for Frozen merchandise has become so frenzied, that word of their plight and other families with young children in similar situations broke news in The New York Post yesterday.
DASHA® wellness & spa’s motto is “enhance your well-being,” and this extends to their commitment to giving back to the community. As such, the Pollacks are donating the extra child’s size 6 Elsa costume to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where the dress can bring joy to a child suffering from cancer.
