September 11th, 2014 marks the 13-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash of United Airlines Flight 93 that was diverted and brought down in Pennsylvania by brave passengers. We remember the lives of the men and women we lost and honor our heroes, the firemen, police officers and emergency medical crew who risked their lives to save others. Today is a day we wish we could forget but will always remember. To those who have lost a loved one, a special friend, a co-worker — we send warm thoughts to you. Take a moment to reflect and continue to be kind to one another.
The Michael Lynch Memorial Foundation was created in the name of fireman Michael Lynch, who died helping victims in the September 11th attacks.
