Today’s she-nan-igan: Yes this is true I’m training for the NY United Airlines Half Marathon. You would think I’d be doing a million other things but for whatever crazy reason I am inspired to RUN. Let me start off by saying I got in the #United AirlinesNYCHalfMarathon by #lottery!
I couldn’t help but say “I finally WON something!”
It’s funny how that word affects so many of us and me especially who always is paying out the nose for things. This #winning excites me because 100’s of people have entered and I was a #luckyone!” Ok so I’m bragging a bit but I’m really, really excited! Look at all of these exclamation points! If you never entered the #NYRR Lottery you def should! It’s an opportunity to run just because…No obligation of money attached and the only commitment is YOU doing the run!
Favorite Thing: Well as the over achiever “YES, yes that’s me, so I’ve been told” I will be running with commitment dedication and just because I will buy a new pair of #new-balance kicks! YES that’s a direct plug “New Balance” is the official athletic footwear and apparel partner for #NYRR and “I’m hoping to do some #fit-modeling for the brand.”
Where Are My Training Runs? RIPPED Fit has become a fav spot of mine to do training. A place where I can go for “ME.” I have gotten so much more than I expected and thanks to the amazing team over there I have decided to do my training runs there with coach Matt.
