Today’s she-nan-igans This am I rushed my ass to the gym so that I could release the stressors I had just before bed!
My son was preparing for the “NY Torture Test” (The Private School Entry Exam) and boy did he let me have it! So here I was running into a class, 3 minutes behind, only to chase that #runnershigh and #getmysweat on! Thanks to coach Nick @nickpagsfit I got a great upper body experience plus my abs burned like a bitch!!
After class, I saw a friend who I found out is running the #UnitedNYCHalf on Sunday, March 18, 2018. It’s nice to know that other people are just as crazy as myself! Training with a friend (both male or female), opens up a whole level of motivation. Your training partner can help you hang tough and achieve your goals, regardless of how far away they may seem at first.
- It’s more fun It’s more FUN to shake up your training plan – you can be crazy and brainstorm how you will actually get to the finish line
- Sports are a camaraderie People who train together form a group identity and no longer feel that solo is the way to fly. Having your peeps by your side makes it even more rewarding because they know how hard you’ve worked.
- More motivation Regular workout times with your friends help you to stick it out and finish your routine.
- Pushing each other When you feel close to giving up, a training partner can be the one to help you build up your motivation again!
- Train together, stay together I love this one! You should consider training with your romantic partner. Working out with your partner strengthens the relationship and enhances sexual attraction and of course you will enhanceyourwell-being®.
Question:Do you like to train solo or with a friend?
