We’ve been talking about how much life has changes in a year. Once you embark on the age 40 things start to change drastically.

And while that may sound depressing to some, keep reading…

So, in life we all go through crazy ups and downs! Have you ever felt like sometimes you are just so out of control that you don’t know which way to steer the wheel so instead you just STOP? Only bc it seems like the safest thing to do!

Well here’s a DASHA® tip! Exercise your brain! About 3/4 months ago I started on a BIG fitness kick. Not to loose weight and not even so much for the exercise, it was just about stimulating my brain and d-stressing and living a healthier lifestyle.

Recognized that in order for you to be the “BadASS self” that you always were, youI needed to pay more attention to your physical and well-being. While staying physically active is a challenge for most,  you might just realize it comes naturally. All it takes is a bit of motivation, determination and a minor switch up in your daily routine. Who knows at 40+ you might feel even stronger and better than you did in your 20’s!

Why? How can this be, you might think? Some say the brain is like the Internet, circulating 360′ degrees like a traditional rolodex except motorized and filled with plenty of nonsense and crap! Plus once we have all this information we slow down to read it, get stuck on it, dwell, and the list goes on. Sound familiar?

Speed Counts people! What really depends most here is “bandwidth!” Speed in our brain is “Myelin”, a special sheet of fat that coats nerve fibers. Healthy “Myelin” allows the electrical signals to work efficiently and sends the brain commands. Gentleman take MJ or LeBron James for example! Might have lost a step, but proved with a iconic block or shot in the finals that they are so fast, skilled and strong. Now that is def some Healthy “Myelin!”

So here’s what you need to know, S_ _ _ happens, it really does! In your 40’s you may slow down a bit or even come to a complete STOP, yet you are alot wiser. Start exercising your brain and body and stop thinking about doing it. Let DASHA® guide you through this process.
