My wedding is five months away, and given that I am surrounded by some of the best personal trainers out there on a weekly basis, I thought it would make sense to take advantage of their expertise and document the journey in a way that other brides-to-be might find useful. Now I am a creature of habit (and like to get in and out of the gym in under an hour), so my my usual workout doesn’t change much (okay, at all). It consists of running five miles every other day (combining hills and speedwork) and then doing 10 minutes of biceps/triceps/ab work. In counting down to my wedding day, I want to be sure that I am balancing out my usual routine with some workouts that will have maximum sculpting results.
Therefore, I decided to team up with some of DASHA’s personal trainers and to chronicle the whole process here for my fellow B-T-B’s out there. I am calling the workouts “Supplemental Wedding Workouts” because they are intended for gals who are in good shape already but simply want to supplement what they are doing with some exercises that will leave them beautifully sculpted. Believe me, I know how many moving parts there are in this wedding planning process, especially in combination with the typical work/life schedule, so these workouts are not going to be time-intensive ones. In fact, I plan to layer them in with my typical running schedule.
