DASHA® is donating compact mirrors to the gift bags for The Children’s Cancer and Blood Foundation’s Breakthrough Ball Benefit Gala, being held this evening, Tuesday, November 18th, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This annual event raises over $1 million for children with cancer and blood disorders who are treated at the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The Breakthrough Ball will feature a cocktail reception, top-shelf open bar, world-class dinner and musical performance by the alumni of the Jersey Boys. This event will also provide young professionals with the opportunity to mingle with some of New York’s most influential business leaders and philanthropists.
Since 1952, The Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation (CCBF) is dedicated to supporting the comprehensive clinical care of children living with cancer and blood disorders. CCBF sponsors the nation’s largest thalassemia clinic, the most extensive hemophilia center in metropolitan New York, and the country’s largest center for research and care for Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), a platelet disorder.
