DASHA® wellness & spa has donated a Stress Relief Package ($530 value) combining 2 Signature Massages, 1 private Pilates session, and 1 Acupuncture Session to the Hearing Health Foundation’s A Summer Soiree, a benefit to support a cure for hearing loss and tinnitus. The event will be held on Monday, June 9th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Ainsworth Park at 111 East 18th Street in New York City.
The National Junior Board of the Hearing Health Foundation is comprised of young professionals committed to improving the lives of those living with hearing loss. Nearly 50 million American are affected by hearing loss or tinnitus, and 1 in 5 teenagers experience hearing loss. Sixty percent of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have a hearing loss or tinnitus, which is more than those who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. Ninety percent of tinnitus cases are a result of underlying hearing loss.
Tickets are $100 in advance or $125 at the door. The price of a ticket includes free beer and wine, light hors d’oeuvres, drink specials, photo booth, and a silent auction with raffle prizes, including those from DASHA® wellness & spa, tickets to various sporting events, cruises, Caribbean trips and more. ACS Custom will be on site to take custom ear molds for monitors and earplugs.
