WHAT IS A SUBLUXATION?
In the chiropractic world, when your vertebrae become misaligned, it is called a chiropractic subluxation. This is one of the most common reasons a patient visits a chiropractor. In a chiropractic subluxation, there is an alteration of the biomechanical and physiological dynamics of contiguous structures which can cause neural disturbances. Subluxations vary in their degree of pain and in addition to disrupting daily activity, can prevent proper blood flow, cause congestion as a result of toxin build-up, and left undiagnosed or untreated, lead to the development of scar tissue, tissue rigidity, atrophy and pain in other areas of the body that may be compensating for your original problem.
SYMPTOMS & DIAGNOSIS
Back pain that is brought on suddenly and does not go away through rest, diet and exercise within one to three weeks may be an indication you have a subluxation. A visit to DASHA® is a non-invasive way to alleviate your pain. A chiropractor will ask you to perform various activities in order to locate the source of your pain. He or she may also recommend additional studies such as MRI or X-ray. The goal of DASHA® “independent client providers” is to find the root of the problem.
HOW DASHA® “INDEPENDENT CLIENT PROVIDERS” MAY HELP
Using hands or special instruments for ART and Graston Technique, a chiropractor can manipulate your spine back to its proper position in order to allow the spine to heal from its subluxation and maintain homeostasis. It may take several successive visits in order to return your spine to its full range of motion and fully alleviate any pain – each case is different. If you are in pain, reach out to us for a full body wellness evaluation and assessment.
