Today’s SHA-NANIGAN®️s Today was a long ass day for me! I couldn’t get in my normal workout routine because of work but that didn’t stop me. I found a way to squeeze it in and I’m so thankful i did. My Focus in the early half of the day was distracted by son’s 8th school applications. When you submit for the city schools you must make the deadlines (I mean it). The process of interviewing is a very stressful experience on both the parent and child. You might have the most perfect kid with the highest scores and the truth is you just don’t know what the schools are looking for. You think to yourself- everything must be perfect, everything must be filled in completely and then the panicking begins.
My second half of the day had revolved around my work. Something crazy was going on inside one of the centers and I needed to be present, which meant that I was about to be stressed out! As usual I was banking on my workout to save me from my daily stress but that didn’t seem to be in the cards at the moment. At about 6:30pm I decided I was going to take a class. I typically like the AM classes better than the PM ones but when you have that one teacher you like it makes it worth it. I focused on my upper body, back & my absolute favorite, “my butt.”
I crushed it!
Now, some people despise squats, let alone 50 i a class but the truth is they are so effective when you do them right! Plus, who doesn’t want a tight ass? My question is why aren’t you working harder to get one?
