Long Run/ 5 miles /51-52 total minutes/10:08-10:26 pace

Today’s she-nan-igans Whew…it’s only been one day off and it feels like forever!!  Why does that happen so quickly?  So, here’s the 411, and it might sound crazy if you are not a “runner.”  Runners feel this incredible high, that becomes so addicting you can almost taste it!  The tingles on top of your head start to flow and the next thing you know you are sprinting up a hill on an incline of 5.0 and a speed of 7.5.  The crazy part about it all is that you are actually in control of your own addiction.

So, since I am only half crazy, I figured I’d run 3 out of 6 half marathons this year.

Sounds #nutty huh?

That runners high really does HIT you! And when you take that day off you tend to become irritable or at least I do! I think to myself I want that hit again and I won’t just wait for it to come on it’s own, I will go chase after it! Don’t worry to much about finding that feeling try thinking about your last runner’s high and just recreate it.
