Today’s Sha-nan-igans  My day started off pretty good. I walked my son to school which is always a nice way for us to get a little quality time together. I’ll take what I can get, because before I know it he will won’t want to be seen walking with his mom anymore. Thirteen years old is an interesting age. I must say the hormones are raging,  the sense of self is more recognized and then (the girls)… When we walk together it’s a chance that I get to listen to my son with no distractions around me. Overall today was one of those days that I stopped and listened to myself. I realized I enjoy doing my own thing and I do need more privacy. I enjoy being the girl behind the white drapes and when you put yourself out there, sometimes the mysterious part of you disappears. “I don’t love that.”
