They say the eyes are the windows into your soul. They can also be the windows into revealing your age. The delicate skin around the eyes is ten times thinner than the skin on the face, and as we age, our skin loses its elasticity and becomes even thinner due to a breakdown of collagen. The skin surrounding the eye is constantly in overdrive; blinking alone produces 10,000 movements per day. Other facial movements can affect the eyes area as well, such as squinting and smiling. Use gentle cleanser formulations. Avoid abrasive AHA’s, exfoliants, harsh ingredients around the eyes.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. + SPF, too!
Gently tap products into the skin. Apply makeup and eye cream with a light hand.
